What kind of fanfic writer are you?

I'm the kind who has to struggle to get my writing mojo running...or any kind of mojo for that matter...
And you'd think as my internet connection has been on off, on off all week it would have given me more time to get stuck in. But no...that would have been far too sensible.
Anyhow, according to this test I found on my travels. I am....
The Mindgamer
Everything is possible, nothing is ever really over.
Fanfiction is a creative outlet for you. You don't intentionally write it, it just happens. You find inspiration in several fandoms, but are not obsessed with only one.
You like to explore "what if" situations. What if this character had never made this very choice? What if this event had taken place sooner, never, elsewhere? What if these people had never met?
You are likely to write Alternative Universes, fan seasons or sequels and just follow your (sometimes pretty strange) plot bunnies.
Analysis:
You scored 56% on Slasher, higher than 48% of your peers.
You scored 59% on Weirdo, higher than 34% of your peers.
You scored 66% on TrueFan, higher than 43% of your peers.
You scored 68% on Mindgamer, higher than 49% of your peers.
You scored 56% on BarelyFF, higher than 46% of your peers.
You scored 45% on Immature, higher than 54% of your peers.

Alternate realities it is then. Awesome!

Date: 2012-02-25 10:04 am (UTC)I came out as a True Fan.
The True Fan
OOC is blasphemy, canon is everything.
Once you fall in love with a movie, book or TV series, you are loyal like an old dog. You take fanfiction quite serious and use it as a substitute after the canon ran out.
You are probably a walking dictionary of your favourite fandom and you are picky about what you write and read. The closer to the "real thing" fanfiction is, the more you like it.
You rather explore a character in all depth, see new sides and learn more about them than creating new characters or mix up the situations they are in.
Which is kind of true. I don't read fanfic much because they usually don't make me hear their voices in my head. But I write lots of AUs and stuff myself though, so it only goes so far LOL

I can see that..I can't imagine you writing Sherlock OOC.
Although I could see you writing him flung into a future scenario, say on the Starship Enterprise! LOL
