My first thoughts on the Spn S6 finale.

 

Wow...just wow. All hail Kripke! Carry On My Wayward Son.

 

We know that absolute power, corrupts absolutely... kind of suggesting that Cas isn't really God or any kind of god...he's become a fallen angel. Another Lucifer!!!

 

I never saw that coming as I was convinced that Cas would become human. I also thought that the wall would come down leaving Sam in a messy heap for the cliffhanger.

 

So glad I was wrong. :P

 

Dean tried so hard to tell Cas that no good would come of what he was doing...and he was right...after all, he's seen it played out before.

 

I loved how they played out the three parts of Sam's psyche and how he needed to put Humpty Dumpty back together again to bring himself back, to help Dean. That's such an interesting way to show the wall breaking and him coping with it. I loved that we got a glimpse of the poor broken, demoralised, bloody Sam who'd been in Hell. Jared certainly played all those different aspects of Sam to perfection. Awesome.

I didn't even put that together, but that is exactly what Lucifer was attempting . . . upsurping God's glory for himself.
